From Processing Plant to Self-Service Coolers and Freezers

Kerber's has something for everyone, and much of what the store offers is made in Kerber's own processing plant. Here farm-fresh milk from local cows is brought in by refrigerated truck and tested for purity and taste. The milk that makes the grade is piped directly into stainless-steel holding tanks and processed that very day: pasteurized, homogenized, and clarified. This fresh, high quality milk and its bi-products are used to make Kerber's premium products:

• Kerber's delicious ice cream, made with cream from the high quality milk they process, available in cones, hand-packed quarts, half-gallons, and bulk containers
• Whole, 2%, 1% and skim milk
• Buttermilk and chocolate milk
• Ranch dip, French onion dip, and sour cream

While some of Kerber's dairy products are soon on their way to area grocery stores, most of these products make a very short trip from the processing plant in the back of the building to the Self-Service Coolers and Freezers in the front of the store. The freshness of Kerber's products is assured.

Non-Dairy Beverages

A wide range of non-dairy beverages are also made at Kerber's. They include iced tea, diet iced tea, caffeine-free iced tea, lemonade, orange juice, and orange, grape, fruit punch, and black cherry drinks. Your favorite soft drinks are also available.

Deli

Kerber's Deli features the highest quality meats and cheeses, sliced to order, and Kerber's own delicious ham salad. Party trays can be made to order.

Hot Lunches

Delicious hot lunches are available Monday through Friday -- eat in at Kerber's dining area or take out -- and Kerber's own fried chicken is available by order. During the Pumpkin Days Festival in October, hot foods are also available on the weekends.

Breakfast Items

Excellent quality bacon and sausage, as well as delicious orange and pink grapefruit juice, are available in Kerber's self-service coolers.

Baked Goods

Fresh pies, cookies, strudelinks, and tarts are made at Kerber's and, on Sundays, fresh donuts and coffee are available.

Snack Foods & Other Conveniences

Kerber's has a great selection of tasty snacks and treats, breads and sandwich buns, bagged ice, and other small items for the convenience of its customers.

Credit/Debit Card Purchases, ATM, & Pennsylvania Lottery

For the convenience of its customers, Kerber's now accepts VISA and MasterCard credit and debit card purchases; and Kerber's ATM machine offers the convenience of cash when you need it. With the Pennsylvania Lottery also available at the store, who knows? Maybe you will win some cash!

Gift Certificates

Since going to Kerber's is a genuine treat for so many people, young and old, consider giving Kerber's Gift Certificates as presents for birthdays, holidays, or just for fun.

Our Farm

Patio and Pavilion

Kerber's patio and pavilion both overlook the rolling fields. Weather permitting, the patio is a great place to enjoy an ice cream cone or hot lunch.

Petting Zoo

In the summer and early Fall, kids of all ages enjoy Kerber's Petting Zoo. Our petting zoo animals are available from mid-May to early November.

Playground

Kerber's colorful new Lilliput Playground, overlooking the fields, is a favorite with kids.

Hayrides

In the Fall, especially during the Pumpkin Days Festival in October, Kerber's offers hayrides through the fields. Individuals who visit the store can purchase a ticket and climb aboard a haywagon during the weekends of the Festival. Teachers and leaders of youth organizations and scout troupes are invited to call (724) 863-6930 to schedule special group hayrides.
