Open Year Round

Kerber's Guffey Road store is open year round except on Christmas Day. Normal hours are 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. During summer months, however, closing time is moved to 9:30 pm so customers can enjoy their favorite ice cream while watching the sun set behind the hills.

Kerber's on Guffey Road overlooks the scenic hills and fields of the original Kerber Family farm. The setting is very peaceful - a reminder of what country life used to be like.

Patio

Kerber's patio both overlook the rolling fields. Weather permitting, the patio is a great place to enjoy an ice cream cone or hot lunch.

Farm Pets

In the late Spring, Summer, and early Fall, kids of all ages enjoy Kerber's farm pets. Different animals visit the farm each year.

It's fun to feed the, goats & sheep - which remain in their enclosed field for your safety.

Playground

Throughout the year, children laugh and play on the colorful Rainbow Playground. Parents, grandparents and friends kick back on the patio while enjoying their ice cream or cool drinks. Adults are reminded to keep an eye on their children as there is no playground supervision provided by Kerbers.

Lunch

A hot lunch, served buffet style, is available each week day from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Come early because the selections go fast!

Hayrides

In the Fall, especially during the Pumpkin Days Festival in October, Kerber's offers hayrides through the fields. Individuals who visit the store can purchase a ticket and climb aboard a haywagon during the weekends of the Festival. Teachers and leaders of youth organizations and scout troupes are invited to call (724) 863-6930 to schedule special group hayrides. (Reservations can be made after May 1)
